Beverage Dispenser - Minute Maid Type

Recommended Products:
Preferred Cleaner:
Solitaire

Preferred Sanitizer:
Triplet Plus * (recommended by Minute Maid)

Alternate Sanitizer:
Oasis 146
Mikroklene

Frequency:
Daily

Procedure:

  1. Flush each dispenser valve until clear water flows from the nozzle.
  2. Remove drip tray, cup rest and nozzles from the dispenser. Separate nozzles and diffuser using a small brush (available from Minute Maid). Wash, rinse and sanitize in pot sink. Do not wash parts in dishwasher.
  3. Cover or remove open concentrate containers prior to cleaning.
  4. Wipe down dispenser, concentrate compartment and pump area with clean damp cloth to remove any product residue. Reinstall all parts.
Note: Do not soak nozzles in chlorine solution overnight. This will cause nozzles to swell, and plastic will begin to deteriorate. Have opening shift prime the juice dispenser before first customer use.
    * Use Triplet Plus if product is already in house for soft serve machine cleaning/sanitizing.

Frequency:
Weekly

Procedure:

  1. Flush each dispenser valve until clear water flows from the nozzle.
  2. Turn off water supply to dispenser. (Very important on models with dispensing gun
    assemblies).
  3. Lift up on the check valve (white or yellow elbow) to remove it from the concentrate container. Pull gently on check valve to remove it from tubing. Do not disassemble the check valve.
  4. Remove the Minute-Pak concentrate containers and refrigerate. Replace with black plastic
concentrate container. (This container was left with you at time of installation or conversion. If
the container is missing, contact Phone Fix at 1-800-862-8999 for a replacement.)
Note: A few machines may still be set up with black plastic containers for holding the juice concentrate. In that case, pour the concentrate into clean, sanitized storage
    containers and refrigerate.
  5. Rinse inside of concentrate container compartment with warm water. Water will drain into drip
    tray.
  6. Remove the drip tray, cup rest, concentrate cover, nozzles, spouts, dispensing paddles and
splash plate from the dispenser. Separate nozzle and diffuser using a small brush (available
    from Minute Maid).
  7. Clean dispenser cabinet, concentrate compartment and pump area.
  8. Wash, rinse and sanitize all parts and concentrate containers in pot sink.
  9. Reinstall all parts.
  10. Fill each concentrate container with half gallon of cool chlorinated sanitizing solution (Triplet Plus) and place them in dispenser.
  11. Reconnect check valves to the concentrate containers.
  12. Turn off water to the dispenser if accessible (valve located in water supply tubing behind left front leg.)
  13. Activate each dispensing valve until the sanitizing solution empties from the concentrate
    containers.
  14. Remove concentrate containers from dispenser. Dispose of any excess sanitizing solution. Rinse and fill containers with clean water. Reinstall containers in dispenser.
  15. Run water through valves to remove all traces of cleaning solution.
  16. Remove concentrate containers and pour out excess water. Reinstall Minute Pak concentrate containers in dispenser.
  17. Turn on water supply to the dispenser. Run each valve until properly mixed product is dispensed.
  18. Wipe the dispenser with a clean damp cloth to remove all product and cleaning solution residue.
