Procedure:

1. Shut off the detergent dispenser and sanitizer injector by following your Ecolab representative’s instructions.
2. Drain the dishmachine completely, then close the drain valve.
3. Remove loose deposits and soil. Leave scrap trays in place to catch solids.
4. Fill dishmachine tanks to three inches below the overflow, then close the fill valve.
5. Turn on tank heaters. Use a trigger spray to apply Lime-A-Way at full strength to the surfaces in final rinse section not reached by machine spray.
6. Add Lime-A-Way to water in tanks.
7. Run machine for 15 minutes. Shut off machine and tank heaters. Drain, then close drain valve.
8. Fill machine with fresh water. Run 5 minutes. With a conveyor machine, run an empty dish rack to activate final rinse.
9. Drain machine. Do not allow any Lime-A-Way solution to remain in the machine.
10. Turn on detergent dispenser for next use.

Safety Tips:

1. Follow Ecolab instructions for deliming dishmachine.
2. Make sure that no Lime-A-Way solution remains in the machine.
3. Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) per MSDS.
4. Trigger spray bottles must be appropriately labeled.
