Meat or Food Slicer

Frequency:
After each use period
Between using different foods
After four (4) hours of continuous use

Procedure:

  1. Unplug slicer and close or open blade depending on slicer model. Wearing cut resistant gloves on both hands, remove the gravity feed, carriage and blade guard.
  2. Place a temporary blade guard over the blade.
  3. Wash, rinse and sanitize disassembled parts in pot sink.
  4. Remove temporary blade guard. Carefully wash and rinse the blade on both sides with a solution of Oasis 133 All Purpose Cleaner using a spray bottle. Wash and rinse all other stationary parts of the slicer.
  5. Sanitize the blade and all other stationary parts of the slicer with 150-400 ppm Oasis 146 OR 25 ppm Mikroklene using a spray bottle. Allow to air dry.
  6. Replace the permanent blade guard, carriage and gravity feed.
  7. Wash, rinse and sanitize the temporary blade guard in pot sink.

Safety Tips:

  1. The slicer should always be unplugged when not in use.
  2. Wear cut resistant gloves on both hands when removing and replacing the gravity feed, carriage and blade guard.
