Recommended Products
Preferred Cleaner:
Oasis 133 All Purpose Cleaner

Preferred Sanitizers:
Oasis 146
Mikroklene

Frequency:
Daily

Procedure:

  1. Clean the cabinet and outside of the dispenser with Oasis 133 All Purpose Cleaner. Dry with a clean cloth. Do not use bleach, steel wool, scouring pads or abrasives.
  2. To clean the drip pan, pour warm water over the cup rest and down the drip pan drain. Never use hot water. Wipe down the inside walls of the drip pan with solution of Oasis 133 All Purpose Cleaner. Rinse with warm water and sanitize with 150-400 ppm Oasis 146
    OR 25 ppm Mikroklene.
(Note: If ice bin is directly under dispenser drip pan, make sure ice bin is empty or ice is completely covered. Do not use drain cleaner, ammonia or bleach).
  3. To clean the dispensing valves, remove the nozzles and diffusers. Place them in sanitizing
solution (150-400 ppm Oasis 146 OR 25 ppm Mikroklene). Scrub each piece individually with a brush. Allow them to soak for 15 minutes. Do not use ammonia or bleach. Do not wash them in an automatic dishwasher.
  4. Remove the clean nozzles and diffusers from the solution. Thoroughly rinse with warm water and allow to air dry.
  5. Use a clean cloth and sanitizing solution to wipe clean all exterior surfaces of dispenser, including dispenser valves and underneath dispenser valves where nozzles and diffusers connect to the valves.
  6. Reinstall the nozzles and diffusers on the dispensing valves.

Frequency:
Weekly or when replacing a syrup container

Procedure:

  1. To clean the syrup connectors, disconnect the syrup line from the empty bag-in-box or figal tank. Soak the connectors in warm water (100°F to 135°F / 38°C to 57°C) for two to three minutes.
  2. Rinse in warm water and reconnect them to a full syrup container.
  3. Rinse the CO2 connector in warm water before reconnecting it to a figal tank. This helps prevent leaks by making a good seal.

Frequency:
Monthly

Procedure - Ice Cooled Unit:

  1. Clean the ice bins. Wash down the inside walls and the aluminum surface of the cold plate with solution of Oasis 133 All Purpose Cleaner and a soft, clean cloth. Rinse completely with clean, warm water.
Note: For operations with automatic ice turners -- Unplug the unit before cleaning near the cold plate.
  2. Sanitize the interior surfaces with 150-400 ppm Oasis 146 OR 25 ppm Mikroklene using a spray bottle.
  3. Allow to air dry.

Procedure - Mechanical Refrigeration Unit:

  1. Check the condenser. Unplug the dispenser and remove the grill cover in front of the
condenser. Use a vacuum hose with a soft brush attachment to gently clean the exposed surface of the condenser. Brush in the same direction as the aluminum fins. To avoid bending the fins and blocking air flow, do not push hard.
  2. If your condenser is equipped with a foam filter, the above steps are not necessary.
Instead, remove the foam filter and wash in Oasis 133 All Purpose Cleaner solution.
  3. Rinse completely and allow to dry on flat surface.
  4. Reinstall the foam filter when totally dry.
